About The Forum
Background
Sustainability has become a defining challenge of our time. Across Nigeria and Africa, governments, businesses, and communities are working to align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Yet, there is still no single platform for sharing what truly works in the African context.
The Africa Sustainability Forum (ASF) seeks to fill this gap - promoting dialogue, sharing best practices, and promoting collaboration among organisations committed to environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and sound governance (ESG).
Organised by TheNumbersNG.com, a leading business, technology, and socioeconomic development news platform, ASF 2026 will consolidate lessons learned, highlight innovation, and accelerate sustainability adoption across Africa.
Objectives
- Showcase Best Practices: Highlight sustainable strategies and case studies from across sectors.
- Engage Stakeholders: Create a national and continental conversation around sustainability.
- Promote Collaboration: Build networks that inspire action and measurable impact.
- Accelerate Change: Identify and promote systems that deliver real sustainability results.
Goals
- Establish ASF as Africa’s foremost sustainability platform.
- Promote sustainable practices across industries and communities.
- Inspire innovation, accountability, and ESG leadership.
- Align Nigeria’s sustainability journey with global benchmarks.
MISSION
To catalyse sustainable development in Nigeria and across Africa by creating a dynamic platform for knowledge sharing, stakeholder engagement, and collaborative action.
VISION
To become Africa’s premier sustainability platform - driving resilient economies, inspiring innovation, and shaping a continent where sustainability is the cornerstone of business, governance, and community life.
